There are five divisions, Datashred, Digital, Technology, Document Management and Relocation and as a group they provide safe and secure services in document storage, cloud and media storage, document shredding, and commercial and workplace relocation.
Our Client is one of the UK's leading on-site and off-site shredding companies, providing confidential document and data shredding services throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
They are now looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent, full time basis where you will assist with the maintenance of the divisions bad debt reserves, demonstrating an understanding of the associated accounting principles.
Being the point of contact for all credit control issues for your ledger and liaising with finance team members as appropriate, you will attend meetings with large customers to discuss debt issues. Raising court paperwork when required, you will ensure court deadlines are achieved whilst also chasing customers for payment and making sure customers who are in liquidation processes are managed efficiently.
They are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of dealing with technical and legal credit issues coupled with strong skills in communication, negotiation and influencing. With advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse large volumes of data, you will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work to strict deadlines. A credit control qualification such as CICM would be an advantage but is not essential.
