PA Housing is an award winning provider of affordable, quality homes, but our business is about more than property - it's about people. We aim to put our residents at the centre of everything we do and offer first class services to all.
Over the next five years we plan to expand further, to increase our stock, and consolidate our offering within our current service areas. We aim to deliver value for money, while building at least 500 new homes a year, and continuing to raise our standards
Our success and our plans for the future would not be possible without our dedicated team of staff members. Every one of our employees help to make a difference to the lives of our residents and other local people, and we look after our team members well.
We are currently seeking two Payable and Receivable Officer's to support the Payables and Receivables Manager in delivery of high quality accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction processing services to the business.
We would like to hear from you if you are a professional who has a passion for service excellence and continuous improvement. You must also have experience of working within a high performing financial transaction processing function and knowledge of utilising financial IT systems.
Your key responsibilities will be to contribute to the delivery of efficient accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payment of creditors and effective issue / dispute resolution. You will also assist with the delivery of efficient accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely billing of debtors and effective debtors management in order to achieve cash collection. Further to this you will actively work with the finance team and also contribute towards day to day maintenance of the suppliers and debtors databases.
Ideally you will also have experience of working with internal and external customers (including suppliers) and working within a strong controls environment and awareness of fraud risk.
We recognise that people are at the heart of our business and that success is dependant on enthusiastic and committed colleagues. We make sure they feel supported and encourage a culture of opportunity and learning to enable colleagues to fulfil their potential and make a real difference to people's lives every day.
In return for your commitment you can expect a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and employee discount scheme. As a responsible employer we take the health and wellbeing of our colleagues seriously, and are currently implementing a comprehensive health and wellbeing programme.
