We are currently recruiting for an Insurance Manager to provide the Group and the operating divisions with strategic insurance advice in support of the business objectives.
As an Insurance Manager you will support the Group Insurance Manager with the delivery of all aspects of the insurance programme, including, the annual insurance exercise, provision of insurance data and management information, contract and bid support to the divisions, and risk management projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the procurement of the insurance programme
Managing the flow of information between the company and the brokers/insurers
Providing day to day advice and support on all insurance related matters
Supporting the legal team with insurance advice on commercial contracts
Managing and updating key insurance documents and procedures
Managing the gathering of data from the business and deliver the annual insurance renewal exercise
What you'll need:
Ideally be ACII Qualified (Chartered Insurance Institute)
Demonstrable experience of liability/ Fleet/ Motor
Have comprehensive knowledge of the UK commercial insurance market
Have comprehensive knowledge of key classes of insurance and policy wordings
Understanding of different methods of funding risk
Have comprehensive knowledge of claims management with the ability to analyse and present data
